The brewery which saw being born the Gallia beer existed before 1878, it was located at 14 rue de la Voie Verte in the district Paris-Montrouge (today the 14th district; the street of the Green lane will become the street of the Corentin Father in 1945).
At the time, the district, cradle of the Gallia beer, included/understood especially careers, corn fields, truck farms, guinguettes where one was used the light local wines as Bagneux, Montrouge, Chatillon…
